Dr Fahad Mewazy is a Consultant Radiologist with over 20 years of clinical experience across the UK, UAE, and Iraq. He holds full specialist registration with the General Medical Council and is a member of the Royal College of Radiologists.

He holds full specialist registration with the General Medical Council and is a member of the Royal College of Radiologists. He is also a member of the European Society of Radiology, and the British Institute of Radiology. Dr Mewazy has special expertise in Chest & Colorectal Imaging.
He graduated from Al-Basrah University College of Medicine (2001) and completed his core training through structured hospital rotations in Iraq. His formal radiology career commenced in 2004 with a 14-month diploma in X-ray and ultrasound diagnostics, completed in 2005.
In 2005, Dr Mewazy moved to the United Arab Emirates, initially working as a General Practitioner. Thereafter, he resumed his radiology training and in 2010 attained the Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR, London). He obtained his Specialist Radiologist licence from the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and worked at Hatta Hospital, Dubai, from 2011 to 2013 in a specialist radiology role.
In 2013, Dr Mewazy relocated to the United Kingdom and joined as a Consultant Radiologist at Withybush General Hospital. However, since 2017, Dr Mewazy has been a Consultant Radiologist across Royal Glamorgan and Prince Charles Hospitals in South Wales.
Dr Mewazy has a special interest in chest and colorectal imaging, with advanced skills in CT, MRI, and ultrasound, including both routine diagnostics and complex image-guided interventional procedures. He plays a key role in chest and colorectal multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings, offering expert diagnostic input and collaborative clinical leadership.
Dr Mewazy is dedicated to:

- Mentorship of junior doctors and specialist registrars
- Education of medical students and allied health professionals
In addition, Dr Mewazy has undertaken extensive training in vascular ultrasound imaging from head to toe and remains actively engaged in continuing professional development to ensure his practice remains aligned with the latest advancements in radiology.
Additionally, Dr Mewazy is calm, patient-focused, a well-respected team-player with strong communication skills and work ethics. He is a trusted radiologist in both NHS and private practice settings, and brings his expertise to Oak Tree Clinic to ensure patients receive high-quality, timely, and personalised imaging care.
